Day 01: Singapore – Delhi

Assemble at Changi Airport for your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi Airport around 20:00 hrs, complete immigration formalities and meet your tour guide/representative. Transfer to your hotel for overnight stay and rest after your journey.

After breakfast, transfer to the domestic terminal for your flight to Srinagar, the summer capital of Kashmir, nestled at the foot of the Himalayan Mountains.

Upon arrival, you will receive a warm Kashmiri welcome and travel by car to the jetty, where you will board a Shikara (traditional gondola) for a scenic transfer to your deluxe houseboat anchored on the famous Dal Lake.

Enjoy the serene waters, surrounding mountains, and the unique charm of Kashmiri houseboat living, making it a truly memorable start to your journey.

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic excursion to Gulmarg, aptly known as the “Meadow of Flowers”, situated at an altitude of approximately 2,700 meters (8,800 feet) above sea level.

Gulmarg is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, with rolling meadows, snow-capped peaks, and forests, creating a landscape reminiscent of a storybook village. During the British era, it was a popular summer retreat, and you can still find charming old-world hotels and quaint village shops.

The area also boasts the world’s highest 18-hole golf course and transforms into a premier ski resort during the winter months, offering breathtaking experiences year-round.

After your excursion, return to Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Sonamarg, the enchanting “Meadow of Gold”, located approximately 85 km from Srinagar at an altitude of 2,800 meters (8,900 feet).

The drive follows the Sindh River, often called the Sindh Valley Tour, and takes about three hours, offering breathtaking mountain landscapes, lush river valleys, and glimpses of local life along the way.

Upon arrival in Sonamarg, take time to enjoy the pristine alpine meadows, sparkling streams, and surrounding snow-capped peaks, making it one of Kashmir’s most picturesque destinations.

After an early breakfast, depart for Kargil (120 km) via the scenic Zoji La Pass (3,529m). The drive offers stunning high-altitude landscapes, with views of rugged mountains and deep valleys.

After crossing Zoji La, the landscape changes dramatically, marking the transition from the lush Kashmir Valley to the stark, arid terrain of Ladakh. Continue through Drass, known as the second coldest inhabited place in the world, before reaching Kargil.

Spend time exploring the town, home to people of Dardic descent, originally from the Baltistan region of the western Himalayas, and experience the unique culture and lifestyle of this high-altitude frontier.

After breakfast, depart for Leh (230 km) on a scenic high-altitude drive. En route, visit the Mulbekh and Lamayuru Monasteries.

At Mulbekh, marvel at the towering rock-carved statue of Maitreya, the Future Buddha, dating back approximately 1,400 years. This remarkable image commemorates the triumph of Buddhism over Bonism and symbolizes the end of historical human and animal sacrifices in the region.

Continue the journey towards Leh, enjoying panoramic views of the rugged mountains, valleys, and high-altitude landscapes. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, explore the cultural and spiritual heritage of Leh with visits to some of Ladakh’s most iconic monasteries: Shey, Thiksey, and Hemis.

Begin with Shey Monastery, located 15 km from Leh on a hilltop. It is renowned for its two-storey seated Buddha statue, exquisitely crafted from copper and gold, an awe-inspiring sight for all visitors.

Next, proceed to Thiksey Monastery, situated en route to Hemis. Perched above the lush Indus Valley, Thiksey offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and houses a beautiful collection of thangkas. The monastery is home to approximately 60 resident monks, who maintain its vibrant spiritual traditions.

Conclude the day with a visit to Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh, celebrated for its rich history and annual festivals.

Return to Leh for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, depart at 5:30 AM for a scenic drive to the stunning Pangong Lake, approximately 140 km from Leh. The journey takes you across the Chang La Pass (5,490m), one of the highest motorable passes in the world, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the villages and valleys below.

En route, stop at Tsoltak, the summer grazing grounds of yaks, for a picnic lunch surrounded by pristine high-altitude landscapes. Continue via Durbuk, followed by a short drive to the western shore of Pangong Lake, famous for its ever-changing hues of blue and majestic mountain backdrop.

Spend the evening soaking in the tranquil beauty of this high-altitude lake.

Upon arrival in Leh, check in to your hotel and, time permitting, visit the local bazaar. Leh Bazaar is a vibrant hub that offers a glimpse into Ladakhi culture and lifestyle, with stalls selling handicrafts, fresh local fruits, and seasonal produce, making it a must-visit for any traveler.

Enjoy dinner at the hotel and an early night’s rest in preparation for the next day’s journey.

After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for a short, spectacular mountain flight to Delhi, offering breathtaking aerial views of the Himalayan ranges.

Conclude the day with a farewell dinner at a choice of North Indian Tandoori or Chinese restaurant. After dinner, transfer to the airport for your international flight back to Singapore.

Trekking and adventure tours in the Himalayan regions carry inherent risks, including severe weather, injury, or even death. While we take every precaution, accidents may still happen. By booking, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Please read the following conditions carefully:

The Contract

By booking with Brothers International Tours & Trading Pte Ltd (the Company), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. This agreement governs your relationship with us and covers liability limitations and cancellation policies.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and ensure that your personal data is kept confidential and used only for booking purposes. We will not disclose or sell your information to third parties.

Trip Booking

A contract is formed when you receive a written confirmation after paying the deposit. Check your booking details carefully and notify us of any errors. The name on your booking must match your passport exactly.

Deposit Requirements

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 60 days before departure. Payment can be made via bank transfer or PayNow.

Cancellation Policy

Over 180 days before departure: No charge

180-90 days: 10% charge

90-30 days: 30% charge

30-15 days: 50% charge

15-7 days: 80% charge

Less than 7 days: No refund

No refunds for unused services or voluntary trip cancellations. We recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance.

Health and Fitness

You must assess your health and fitness before booking. Inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions. We are not responsible for any issues arising from medical conditions or inability to complete the trip.

Travel Insurance

Adequate travel insurance covering accidents, medical expenses, and emergency evacuation is mandatory. We recommend comprehensive coverage for all aspects of the trip.

Itinerary Changes

The itinerary may change due to unforeseen factors such as weather, medical issues, or flight delays. Brothers Team reserves the right to modify the schedule.

Visa and Passport

Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. It’s your responsibility to obtain the necessary visas. Brothers Team is not responsible for visa issues.

Injuries and Evacuation

We are not liable for injuries or health conditions during the trip. We strongly recommend purchasing insurance that includes medical and evacuation coverage.

Unused Services

No refunds or discounts for missed services, including illness, injury, or early departure.

Responsible Tourism

We promote responsible tourism and expect travelers to respect local communities and the environment.
