The journey begins in Srinagar, which takes you by way of the impressive Lamayuru Monastery and the Koji Pass. Once in Srinagar you’ll enjoy the unique hospitality of a traditional Kashmir houseboat; with the option of taking time to tour the famous gardens, visit a local floating market or exploring nearby Gulmarg, once a favoured haunt of the British Raj and home to the world’s highest gondola.

In Leh, high in the Himalayas, where you will have a chance to enjoy the beautiful palaces and temples of this fascinating town before heading into the Nubra Valley. Only recently opened, this provides your gateway into the timeless world of the Tibetan Plateau, where you will have a chance to experience village life before taking the High Road on to Kashmir.

Day 01: Singapore – Delhi

Assemble at Changi International Airport for your flight to Delhi, India. Upon arrival, you will be met and greeted by our local representative and transferred to your hotel.

Spend the rest of the day at leisure to relax after your international flight.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a spectacular mountain flight to Srinagar. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to a deluxe houseboat anchored on the iconic Dal Lake.

Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir, is a vibrant and colorful city set amidst snow-capped mountains and tranquil waterways. The serene waters of Dal and Nagin Lakes form a unique aquatic world, where traditional houseboats—an integral part of Kashmir’s heritage—have existed for centuries.

Enjoy lunch followed by time at leisure to relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings.

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic excursion to Gulmarg, aptly known as the “Meadow of Flowers,” situated at an altitude of approximately 2,700 meters (8,800 feet) above sea level.

Renowned for its unspoiled natural beauty, Gulmarg offers sweeping views of rolling meadows, pine forests, and distant snow-capped peaks—often likened to a storybook alpine village. During the colonial era, it was a favored summer retreat of the British, and traces of this heritage can still be seen in its old-world hotels and quaint village charm.

After lunch, return to Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive along the scenic course of the Sindh River to Sonamarg, the enchanting “Meadow of Gold.” En route, stop at Kangan, a charming mountain town where locals from surrounding valleys gather for trade, offering a glimpse into everyday Himalayan life.

Set amidst rolling alpine meadows, Sonamarg is renowned for its spectacular natural beauty, adorned with vibrant alpine flowers, dense forests of fir, pine, and silver birch, and snow-draped peaks in the distance.

After lunch, enjoy a pony ride to the Thajwas Glacier, a stunning icefield surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery.

After breakfast, embark on a spectacular drive to Kargil, crossing the dramatic Zoji La Pass (3,529m). The journey offers breathtaking mountain views, and once across the pass, you will notice a distinct change in landscape, marking the transition from the lush Kashmir Valley to the stark, rugged terrain of Ladakh.

Continue through Drass, known as the second coldest inhabited place in the world, before arriving in Kargil. Spend time exploring the town and observing the unique culture of its people, who belong largely to the Dardic ethnic group, traditionally associated with the Baltistan region of the western Himalayas.

After breakfast, set out on a spectacular mountain drive to Leh (230 km), crossing the high Himalayan passes of Namik La (3,737m) and Fotula Pass (4,294m)—the highest point on the Srinagar–Leh highway.

The journey unfolds with dramatic panoramic views of the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges, showcasing stark mountains, deep valleys, and lunar-like landscapes. En route, visit Mulbekh, home to the impressive rock-carved statue of Maitreya, the Future Buddha, dating back over 1,400 years.

Continue to Lamayuru Monastery, one of Ladakh’s oldest and most revered monasteries, approximately 900 years old, renowned for its striking hilltop setting and sacred images of Chenrezig (the God of Compassion and Mercy).

After lunch, continue the scenic drive to Leh. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel.

Today is dedicated to exploring Leh and its fascinating surroundings. After breakfast, visit Shankar Gompa, a monastery of the Gelugpa (Yellow Hat) sect of Buddhism, renowned for its serene setting and sacred images of Chenrezig (the God of Compassion), along with a fine collection of traditional thangkas.

Continue to the gleaming Shanti Stupa, offering breathtaking panoramic views over Leh town and the surrounding mountains. Visit the historic Leh Palace, once the residence of the Ladakhi royal family, and later stroll through the lively Leh Bazaar and Tibetan Market, where you can browse local handicrafts, prayer flags, and souvenirs.

Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

After breakfast, set out to explore the cultural highlights around Leh, visiting the renowned monasteries of Shey, Thiksey, and Hemis.

Begin with Shey Monastery, located approximately 15 km from Leh, dramatically set on a hilltop. The monastery is famed for its magnificent two-storey seated Buddha statue, exquisitely crafted from copper and gold, leaving visitors in awe.

Continue to Thiksey Monastery, beautifully perched above the Indus Valley, offering sweeping panoramic views of lush green fields contrasted against the stark Ladakhi mountains. Thiksey is home to around 60 resident monks and houses an impressive collection of ancient thangkas, stupas, and Buddhist art.

Proceed to Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh, renowned for its rich heritage and vibrant spiritual atmosphere.

Return to Leh by late afternoon.

After an early breakfast, depart at 5:30 AM for a scenic drive to the breathtaking Pangong Lake, located approximately 140 km from Leh. The journey takes you across the dramatic Chang La Pass (5,490m), one of the highest motorable passes in the world.

Enjoy spectacular panoramic views of remote villages and high-altitude landscapes as you descend from the pass. En route, stop at Tsoltak, the summer grazing grounds of yaks, for a picnic lunch amidst pristine Himalayan surroundings.

Continue via Durbuk, followed by a short drive to reach the western shore of Pangong Lake, famed for its ever-changing shades of blue set against rugged mountain backdrops.

After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for a short but spectacular mountain flight to Delhi, offering panoramic views of the Himalayan landscape. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax for a while.

In the afternoon, enjoy a half-day city tour of Delhi, with some free time for shopping in Connaught Place, exploring its vibrant markets and boutiques. The day concludes with a farewell dinner at a choice of North Indian Tandoori or Chinese restaurant, celebrating the end of your memorable journey.

By booking with Brothers International Tours & Trading Pte Ltd (the Company), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. This agreement governs your relationship with us and covers liability limitations and cancellation policies.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and ensure that your personal data is kept confidential and used only for booking purposes. We will not disclose or sell your information to third parties.

Trip Booking

A contract is formed when you receive a written confirmation after paying the deposit. Check your booking details carefully and notify us of any errors. The name on your booking must match your passport exactly.

Deposit Requirements

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 60 days before departure. Payment can be made via bank transfer or PayNow.

Cancellation Policy

Over 180 days before departure: No charge

180-90 days: 10% charge

90-30 days: 30% charge

30-15 days: 50% charge

15-7 days: 80% charge

Less than 7 days: No refund

No refunds for unused services or voluntary trip cancellations. We recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance.

Health and Fitness

You must assess your health and fitness before booking. Inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions. We are not responsible for any issues arising from medical conditions or inability to complete the trip.

Travel Insurance

Adequate travel insurance covering accidents, medical expenses, and emergency evacuation is mandatory. We recommend comprehensive coverage for all aspects of the trip.

Itinerary Changes

The itinerary may change due to unforeseen factors such as weather, medical issues, or flight delays. Brothers Team reserves the right to modify the schedule.

Visa and Passport

Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. It’s your responsibility to obtain the necessary visas. Brothers Team is not responsible for visa issues.

Injuries and Evacuation

We are not liable for injuries or health conditions during the trip. We strongly recommend purchasing insurance that includes medical and evacuation coverage.

Unused Services

No refunds or discounts for missed services, including illness, injury, or early departure.
