Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300 m) – Welcome Dinner

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will be warmly received by a representative from the Brothers Team. After a meet-and-greet, you will be transferred to your hotel where you can check in, freshen up, and relax after your journey.

Following a short rest, you will meet your trekking/expedition leader, who will provide a detailed briefing about the Himchuli Peak climbing program, including safety procedures, equipment checks, and the overall itinerary.

In the evening, enjoy a traditional welcome dinner at a nearby local restaurant, offering an excellent introduction to Nepali cuisine and culture.

After an early breakfast, begin a full-day guided sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley, exploring some of Nepal’s most important UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The tour includes visits to:

  • Boudhanath Stupa – one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world and a major center of Tibetan Buddhism

  • Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) – an ancient religious site offering panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley

  • Kathmandu Durbar Square – a historic complex of palaces, temples, and courtyards reflecting Nepal’s rich medieval architecture

  • Patan Durbar Square – renowned for its exquisite Newari craftsmanship, temples, and cultural heritage

In the late afternoon, return to the hotel for final expedition preparations. This time is allocated for last-minute shopping, checking and organizing climbing gear, documentation, and a final consultation with the expedition leader.

The evening is free for rest and relaxation, preparing both physically and mentally for the journey ahead.

After an early breakfast, take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820 m), offering stunning views of the Himalayan range and the Pokhara valley.

Upon arrival in Pokhara, drive to Nayapul, the starting point of your trek. From Nayapul, begin your trek to Hille (1,430 m), which takes approximately 4–5 hours. The trail passes through lush forests, small villages, and terraced farmland, providing your first immersive experience of rural Nepalese life.

Enjoy the mountain views and fresh Himalayan air as you ascend gradually to Hille. Upon arrival, check in at a local teahouse or lodge, enjoy dinner, and rest overnight in preparation for the next day’s trek.

After breakfast, begin your trek from Hille (1,430 m) to Ghorepani (2,880 m), a journey of approximately 6–7 hours. The trail gradually ascends through lush rhododendron forests, terraced fields, and charming villages, offering a gentle introduction to high-altitude trekking.

Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, and observe the daily life of local Gurung and Magar communities. The trek provides ample opportunities for photography, short rest breaks, and interaction with villagers.

Upon reaching Ghorepani, check in at a local teahouse or lodge, enjoy a hearty dinner, and rest overnight, preparing for the early morning excursion the next day.

Wake up early for a short hike (approximately 1 hour) to Poon Hill (3,210 m), one of the most famous viewpoints in the Annapurna region. From here, enjoy a spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, including Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and capture panoramic Himalayan vistas that stretch across the region.

After the sunrise hike, return to Ghorepani for breakfast, then continue your trek towards Tadapani (2,630 m). The trail passes through dense rhododendron forests, bamboo groves, and small villages, offering both natural beauty and cultural insights along the way. The trek takes approximately 6–7 hours, with moderate ascents and descents.

Upon arrival in Tadapani, check in at a local teahouse or lodge, enjoy dinner, and rest overnight, preparing for the higher-altitude journey ahead.

After breakfast, begin your trek from Tadapani (2,630 m) to Chhomrong (2,170 m). The trail descends through lush forests of rhododendron, oak, and bamboo, crossing streams and charming mountain villages along the way.

Chhomrong is a picturesque Gurung village located at the base of the Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) massif and offers stunning views of the Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre, and Hiunchuli peaks. Upon arrival, check in at a local teahouse or lodge, enjoy dinner, and rest overnight, as this village serves as a gateway to higher altitudes on your Himchuli Peak climbing route.

After breakfast, continue your trek from Chhomrong (2,170 m) to Dovan (2,600 m). The trail gradually ascends through dense rhododendron and oak forests, following mountain streams and passing traditional villages along the way.

Enjoy the changing landscapes as you climb higher into the Annapurna region, with breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) peaks appearing along the route.

Upon arrival in Dovan, check in at a local teahouse or lodge, enjoy dinner, and rest overnight. This stop allows your body to acclimatize gradually before ascending to higher camps in the coming days.

After breakfast, continue your trek from Dovan (2,600 m) towards Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700 m). The trail gradually ascends through dense forests, alpine meadows, and rugged terrain, offering stunning views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and the surrounding peaks.

Along the way, trekkers pass highland pastures and small villages, with opportunities to observe local Gurung and Magar culture. The higher altitude provides a sense of remoteness and immersion in the Annapurna Himalayan environment.

Upon arrival at Machhapuchhre Base Camp, check in at a teahouse or lodge, enjoy dinner, and rest overnight. This camp serves as an important acclimatization and staging point for your ascent to higher camps in preparation for Himchuli Peak.

After breakfast, embark on a short but scenic trek from Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700 m) to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m), which takes approximately 2 hours. The trail passes through alpine meadows, rocky terrain, and glacial moraines, offering uninterrupted panoramic views of the Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and Himchuli.

Arrive at Annapurna Base Camp, a stunning high-altitude location surrounded by towering peaks. Take time to explore the area, capture photographs, and enjoy the majestic scenery. This stop also provides excellent acclimatization before continuing higher on the Himchuli climbing route.

After breakfast, continue your trek from Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m) to Hiunchuli Base Camp (4,600 m). The trail gradually ascends through rocky terrain and alpine landscapes, offering spectacular views of Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and surrounding Annapurna peaks.

Along the way, trekkers experience the serenity of high-altitude meadows, glacial streams, and panoramic mountain vistas, making it both a scenic and acclimatization-focused hike.

Upon arrival at Hiunchuli Base Camp, check in at the teahouse or lodge, enjoy dinner, and rest overnight. This camp serves as a key preparation and acclimatization point for the subsequent ascent toward Himchuli Peak.

Overnight: High Camp (Tent / Lodge, depending on conditions)

After an early breakfast, begin the challenging ascent from Hiunchuli Base Camp (4,600 m) to High Camp (5,500 m). The trek takes approximately 5–6 hours and involves steeper terrain, rocky paths, and high-altitude conditions, requiring careful pacing and acclimatization.

The trail offers dramatic mountain views, including Himchuli, Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and Hiunchuli itself. Trekkers will traverse alpine slopes, moraines, and ridgelines, experiencing the raw beauty and solitude of the high Himalayas.

Upon arrival at High Camp, set up at the teahouse or tented lodge, enjoy a warm dinner, and rest. This camp serves as the staging point for the summit push, allowing climbers to prepare mentally and physically for the ascent to Himchuli Peak.

Overnight: Teahouse/Lodge in Deurali

Today is the highlight of the expedition. After an early breakfast, begin the summit push to Himchuli Peak (6,441 m) from High Camp. The ascent is challenging and technical, involving steep snow and ice slopes, rocky ridges, and high-altitude terrain. Climbers are rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and Dhaulagiri ranges.

After celebrating at the summit, carefully descend back to Deurali (3,230 m), taking approximately 6–7 hours in total. The descent offers a chance to reflect on the achievement, enjoy the scenery, and experience the tranquility of the Annapurna Himalayas.

Upon arrival at Deurali, check in at a teahouse or lodge, enjoy a well-deserved dinner, and rest overnight after the successful summit climb.

This day is reserved as a contingency in case the summit attempt on Himchuli Peak was delayed due to unfavorable weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

If the weather conditions allow, climbers can make the summit push today. Otherwise, use this day for rest, acclimatization, and preparation. High Camp or Deurali will serve as your base, offering spectacular views of the surrounding peaks and a chance to recover after the challenging ascent.

This ensures flexibility in the expedition schedule and maximizes the chances of a safe and successful summit.

Overnight: Teahouse/Lodge in Sinuwa

After breakfast, begin your descent from Deurali (3,230 m) to Sinuwa (2,360 m). The trek takes approximately 6–7 hours, passing through beautiful alpine meadows, dense rhododendron and oak forests, and terraced villages.

Along the trail, enjoy the changing scenery as you descend, with panoramic views of Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and Hiunchuli gradually receding into the distance. The path follows mountain streams, stone stairways, and forested sections, offering a peaceful and scenic descent after the summit climb.

Upon arrival at Sinuwa, check in at a local teahouse or lodge, enjoy a hearty dinner, and rest overnight in preparation for the continued trek back to lower altitudes.

After breakfast, continue your descent from Sinuwa (2,360 m) to the picturesque village of Ghandruk (1,940 m). The trek takes approximately 6–7 hours, passing through lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and terraced farmland.

Ghandruk is a charming Gurung village known for its traditional stone houses, cultural heritage, and panoramic views of Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre, and Hiunchuli. Along the trail, trekkers can interact with local villagers, observe their daily routines, and enjoy the scenic beauty of the region.

Upon arrival, check in at a teahouse or lodge, enjoy dinner, and rest overnight. Ghandruk provides a comfortable stop as you continue your descent toward lower elevations.

Overnight: Hotel in Pokhara

After breakfast, begin your final day of trekking from Ghandruk (1,940 m) to Nayapul (1,070 m). The trek takes approximately 3–4 hours and follows forested trails, terraced farmlands, and charming villages, providing a gentle descent and scenic farewell to the Annapurna region.

Upon reaching Nayapul, board a vehicle for a 2-hour drive back to Pokhara (820 m). En route, enjoy views of rivers, hills, and the lush Pokhara valley, marking the end of your high-altitude trekking adventure.

Upon arrival in Pokhara, check in at your hotel, relax, and enjoy a celebratory dinner, reminiscing about your successful Himchuli Peak expedition.

Overnight: Hotel in Kathmandu

After breakfast, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Pokhara, exploring some of its most iconic attractions, including:

  • Fewa Lake – enjoy a peaceful stroll or a short boat ride on the serene lake, with mountain reflections and lakeside views

  • Bindhyabasini Temple – a historic Hindu temple perched on a hill, offering panoramic views of the Pokhara valley

  • Davis Fall and Gupteshwor Cave – marvel at the natural beauty and geological formations unique to the region

In the afternoon, transfer to Pokhara Airport for a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in and some rest. This is an opportunity to relax after your long trekking expedition or explore Kathmandu city at leisure.

After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing in Kathmandu, if your flight schedule allows.

You will then be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport at least 3 hours before your scheduled flight to board your flight back home. Depart Kathmandu with wonderful memories of your Himchuli Peak expedition and the breathtaking landscapes of the Annapurna region.

Trekking and adventure tours in the Himalayan regions carry inherent risks, including severe weather, injury, or even death. While we take every precaution, accidents may still happen. By booking, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Please read the following conditions carefully:

The Contract

By booking with Brothers International Tours & Trading Pte Ltd (the Company), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. This agreement governs your relationship with us and covers liability limitations and cancellation policies.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and ensure that your personal data is kept confidential and used only for booking purposes. We will not disclose or sell your information to third parties.

Trip Booking

A contract is formed when you receive a written confirmation after paying the deposit. Check your booking details carefully and notify us of any errors. The name on your booking must match your passport exactly.

Deposit Requirements

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 60 days before departure. Payment can be made via bank transfer or PayNow.

Cancellation Policy

Over 180 days before departure: No charge

180-90 days: 10% charge

90-30 days: 30% charge

30-15 days: 50% charge

15-7 days: 80% charge

Less than 7 days: No refund

No refunds for unused services or voluntary trip cancellations. We recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance.

Health and Fitness

You must assess your health and fitness before booking. Inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions. We are not responsible for any issues arising from medical conditions or inability to complete the trip.

Travel Insurance

Adequate travel insurance covering accidents, medical expenses, and emergency evacuation is mandatory. We recommend comprehensive coverage for all aspects of the trip.

Itinerary Changes

The itinerary may change due to unforeseen factors such as weather, medical issues, or flight delays. Brothers Team reserves the right to modify the schedule.

Visa and Passport

Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. It’s your responsibility to obtain the necessary visas. Brothers Team is not responsible for visa issues.

Injuries and Evacuation

We are not liable for injuries or health conditions during the trip. We strongly recommend purchasing insurance that includes medical and evacuation coverage.

No refunds or discounts for missed services, including illness, injury, or early departure.
