Day 1: Singapore – Yangon (Dinner)

Fly from Singapore to Yangon to begin your exciting Myanmar journey. Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel for check-in.

In the evening, enjoy a traditional cultural dinner show at the Karaweik Palace, a magnificent structure built in the style of a royal barge once used by ancient Burmese kings. While savoring authentic Myanmar cuisine, be entertained by vibrant cultural performances showcasing the country’s rich heritage.

After dinner, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Yangon.

 

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Bagan. Upon arrival, begin a full-day guided sightseeing tour by coach, exploring the ancient temple city renowned for its thousands of pagodas and monasteries.

Visit the lively Nyaung Oo Market, followed by the Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a prominent religious shrine. Continue to Kyansitha Cave Monastery and Wetkyi-in Gubyaukgyi, famous for its exquisite Jataka mural paintings. Proceed to the Temple City Gate and observe the traditional lacquerware industry, for which Bagan is well known.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Mandalay, the former royal capital of Myanmar’s last kingdom. Upon arrival, begin a full-day guided sightseeing tour by coach, discovering the cultural and historical highlights of this important city.

Tour highlights include a visit to a traditional Gold Leaf Hammering Workshop, where you can observe the centuries-old craft used to produce the delicate gold leaf applied to Buddha images and pagodas.

Continue to Mahamuni Pagoda, also known as Payagyi (Big Paya) or Rakhaing Paya, home to one of Myanmar’s most revered Buddha images. The statue is entirely covered with layers of gold leaf, reaching approximately 15 cm in thickness, making it a must-see spiritual and cultural landmark.

After a hearty breakfast, visit the bustling Jade Market, where you can browse and shop for Myanmar’s famous jade products. Then proceed to Amarapura, an ancient former capital built according to the advice of royal astrologers.

Tour highlights include Mahagandayon Monastery, one of the country’s most important monastic learning centers, where you may observe the daily routines of monks studying Buddhist scriptures. Continue to the iconic U Bein Bridge, a 1.2 km-long teakwood bridge built over 200 years ago, offering wonderful photo opportunities and a glimpse into local life.

Visit traditional wood, bronze, and marble carving and casting villages, where skilled artisans preserve age-old craftsmanship.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a domestic flight from Mandalay to Heho. Upon arrival, continue by coach to Pindaya, a peaceful town set amid scenic landscapes.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before beginning afternoon sightseeing. Highlights include the picturesque Pindaya Lake and the renowned Pindaya Caves, famous for housing thousands of Buddha images placed by pilgrims over many centuries, creating a truly unique and sacred atmosphere.

After sightseeing, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Pindaya.

After breakfast at the hotel, travel to the renowned Inle Lake. Upon arrival, begin a full-day excursion by boat on the lake, offering a fascinating insight into the unique lifestyle of the Intha people.

Highlights include sightings of the famous leg-rowing fishermen, traditional floating gardens, local fishing methods, and everyday village life along the waterways. Visit the floating market (if operating) and the sacred Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, home to revered Buddha images.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing afternoon sightseeing. Visit the weaving village of Inpawkhon, known for its traditional silk and lotus-fiber weaving, and the historic Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, famous for its ancient wooden structure.

After breakfast, depart Inle Lake and travel by coach to Heho Airport for a domestic flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, begin a half-day Yangon city tour. Visit Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, home to the impressive colossal reclining Buddha image. Continue to a Gem Souvenir Centre and factory to learn about Myanmar’s renowned gemstones and craftsmanship.

Proceed to Bogyoke (Scott) Market, where you will have free time to browse among hundreds of stalls offering handicrafts, jewelry, lacquerware, and other souvenir bargains (subject to market opening days).

In the evening, visit the revered Shwedagon Pagoda, the world-famous golden stupa believed to be over 2,500 years old, beautifully illuminated at night and considered the most sacred Buddhist site in Myanmar.

Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Yangon.

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Yangon International Airport for your flight back to Singapore, marking the end of your memorable Myanmar journey.

The Contract

By booking with Brothers International Tours & Trading Pte Ltd (the Company), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. This agreement governs your relationship with us and covers liability limitations and cancellation policies.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and ensure that your personal data is kept confidential and used only for booking purposes. We will not disclose or sell your information to third parties.

Trip Booking

A contract is formed when you receive a written confirmation after paying the deposit. Check your booking details carefully and notify us of any errors. The name on your booking must match your passport exactly.

Deposit Requirements

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 60 days before departure. Payment can be made via bank transfer or PayNow.

Cancellation Policy

Over 180 days before departure: No charge

180-90 days: 10% charge

90-30 days: 30% charge

30-15 days: 50% charge

15-7 days: 80% charge

Less than 7 days: No refund

No refunds for unused services or voluntary trip cancellations. We recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance.

Health and Fitness

You must assess your health and fitness before booking. Inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions. We are not responsible for any issues arising from medical conditions or inability to complete the trip.

Travel Insurance

Adequate travel insurance covering accidents, medical expenses, and emergency evacuation is mandatory. We recommend comprehensive coverage for all aspects of the trip.

Itinerary Changes

The itinerary may change due to unforeseen factors such as weather, medical issues, or flight delays. Brothers Team reserves the right to modify the schedule.

Visa and Passport

Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. It’s your responsibility to obtain the necessary visas. Brothers Team is not responsible for visa issues.

Injuries and Evacuation

We are not liable for injuries or health conditions during the trip. We strongly recommend purchasing insurance that includes medical and evacuation coverage.

Unused Services

No refunds or discounts for missed services, including illness, injury, or early departure.
