Day 1: Arrival in Almaty – City Highlights

Upon arrival at Almaty International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local Kazakh restaurant, sampling traditional cuisine. Afterward, spend your free time exploring Almaty—whether shopping, strolling, or enjoying the city’s vibrant café scene.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast at the hotel, head to Medeu, the world’s highest outdoor ice-skating rink, set amidst stunning mountain scenery.

Take the cable car to Shymbulak Ski Resort, where you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, or simply relax in the cozy alpine cafés while taking in the breathtaking views.

Lunch is served at the resort, giving you energy to continue enjoying the snowy landscapes.

Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast at the hotel, take an excursion to Big Almaty Lake, surrounded by snow-capped mountains (weather permitting), offering spectacular winter scenery and photography opportunities.

Next, visit a falconry farm to witness the ancient Kazakh tradition of eagle hunting, an iconic cultural experience.

In the afternoon, enjoy shopping at Green Bazaar and Zilyoni Market, where you can explore local crafts, fresh produce, and souvenirs.

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a full-day excursion to Charyn Canyon, approximately a 3-hour drive from Almaty. Marvel at the canyon’s unique winter scenery, often called the “Valley of Castles”, with its dramatic rock formations and snow-dusted landscapes.

Enjoy a picnic or packed lunch amidst the stunning surroundings. In the evening, return to Almaty and celebrate the journey with a farewell dinner accompanied by a traditional Kazakh cultural show.

After breakfast, cross the Kordai border into Kyrgyzstan and meet your local guide. Drive to Bishkek (approximately 1 hour) and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Continue on a scenic drive to the Chong Kemin Valley (approx. 2 hours), a picturesque region surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Depending on your preference, enjoy an optional short winter walk, horse-riding, or simply relax and take in the stunning snowy landscapes.

Dinner and overnight stay: Guesthouse or lodge in Chong Kemin Valley.

After breakfast at the guesthouse, drive toward Issyk-Kul Lake, known as the “Pearl of Kyrgyzstan” and the world’s second-largest alpine lake. Along the way, stop at the historic Burana Tower, an ancient Silk Road minaret, and explore its surrounding ruins.

Enjoy lunch en route before continuing to Karakol, a charming town on the eastern shore of Issyk-Kul. In the evening, you can relax or explore the local bazaar.

After breakfast at the hotel, explore Karakol’s cultural highlights, including:

  • Russian Orthodox Church – a beautiful example of 19th-century architecture.

  • Przhevalsky Museum – dedicated to the famous explorer Nikolay Przhevalsky and his expeditions.

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on an excursion to Jeti-Oguz Gorge, renowned for its striking “Seven Bulls” red rock formations and enchanting winter landscapes. Learn about the local legends associated with this dramatic natural site.

Enjoy lunch in the gorge or en route, then continue driving along the south shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, stopping for scenic photo opportunities along the way.

Overnight stay: Lakeside resort or guesthouse on Issyk-Kul’s south shore.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast at the guesthouse, drive back to Bishkek (approximately 5–6 hours). Along the way, stop at a local bazaar to shop for souvenirs and experience the vibrant local culture.

Enjoy lunch en route before continuing the journey. Arrive in Bishkek in the evening and transfer to your hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a morning city tour of Bishkek, visiting highlights such as Ala-Too Square, Oak Park, Philharmonic Hall, and Victory Square.

After sightseeing, transfer to Almaty by road (approx. 4–5 hours) or optionally take a 1-hour flight (USD 110) to connect with your international flight home.

The Contract

By booking with Brothers International Tours & Trading Pte Ltd (the Company), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. This agreement governs your relationship with us and covers liability limitations and cancellation policies.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and ensure that your personal data is kept confidential and used only for booking purposes. We will not disclose or sell your information to third parties.

Trip Booking

A contract is formed when you receive a written confirmation after paying the deposit. Check your booking details carefully and notify us of any errors. The name on your booking must match your passport exactly.

Deposit Requirements

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 60 days before departure. Payment can be made via bank transfer or PayNow.

Cancellation Policy

Over 180 days before departure: No charge

180-90 days: 10% charge

90-30 days: 30% charge

30-15 days: 50% charge

15-7 days: 80% charge

Less than 7 days: No refund

No refunds for unused services or voluntary trip cancellations. We recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance.

Health and Fitness

You must assess your health and fitness before booking. Inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions. We are not responsible for any issues arising from medical conditions or inability to complete the trip.

Travel Insurance

Adequate travel insurance covering accidents, medical expenses, and emergency evacuation is mandatory. We recommend comprehensive coverage for all aspects of the trip.

Itinerary Changes

The itinerary may change due to unforeseen factors such as weather, medical issues, or flight delays. Brothers Team reserves the right to modify the schedule.

Visa and Passport

Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. It’s your responsibility to obtain the necessary visas. Brothers Team is not responsible for visa issues.

Injuries and Evacuation

We are not liable for injuries or health conditions during the trip. We strongly recommend purchasing insurance that includes medical and evacuation coverage.

Unused Services

No refunds or discounts for missed services, including illness, injury, or early departure.

Responsible Tourism

We promote responsible tourism and expect travelers to respect local communities and the environment.
