Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization & Local Sightseeing

Depart from Singapore/Delhi on Singapore Airlines, with an early-morning flight leaving Changi Airport at 2:20 AM and arriving in Delhi at 5:15 AM. On the same morning, connect to a domestic flight from Delhi to Leh.

Upon arrival at Leh Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is kept free for rest and acclimatization to the high altitude. In the evening, enjoy a gentle visit to Leh Market and the serene Shanti Stupa.

 

Altitude: 3,256 m

After breakfast, set out on a full-day Indus Valley monastery tour, exploring some of Ladakh’s most significant cultural and spiritual landmarks. Visit Shey Palace, the former ancient capital of Ladakh, followed by Thiksey Monastery, an impressive hilltop complex rising in tiers above the village. Continue to Hemis Gompa, the largest and wealthiest monastery of the Drukpa Kagyu order of Tibetan Buddhism.

Later, visit Sindhu Ghat on the banks of the Indus River and explore the Stok Palace Museum, showcasing royal artifacts and traditional Ladakhi heritage. A packed or hot lunch will be provided during the excursion.

After an early breakfast, drive to the breathtaking Nubra Valley, crossing the iconic Khardung La Pass (18,390 ft), one of the world’s highest motorable roads, located about 39 km from Leh. The scenic drive offers panoramic views of the rugged Himalayan landscape.

Known locally as Ldumra, meaning the Valley of Flowers, Nubra Valley lies north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive at Sumur or Hunder by afternoon.

The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the picturesque villages of Sumur and Hunder, including a visit to the historic Diskit Monastery, famous for its towering statue of Maitreya Buddha and stunning valley views.

Travel Time: Approx. 3 hours | Altitude: 3,256 m

After breakfast at the camp, drive back to Leh via the same scenic route, crossing Khardung La Pass once again. After lunch, begin a short and enjoyable trek to Saboo Village, starting from your hotel or guest house in Leh.

The trek passes through Leh’s main bazaar and Polo Ground, followed by an uphill walk over two small ridges. The trail then descends through a dry valley, offering distant views of Saboo Village nestled amid the mountains.

Upon reaching Saboo, enjoy your packed lunch and visit the small local monastery, which offers panoramic views of the Indus Valley and the Stok Kangri range.

After the trek, return to Leh.

Altitude: 14,000 ft (4,267 m)

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to the breathtaking Pangong Lake, traveling via the scenic Chang La Pass (5,486 m), one of the highest motorable mountain passes in the region.

Nestled at an altitude of 14,000 feet, Pangong Lake is a striking high-altitude saltwater lake, stretching over 130 km in length and approximately 6–7 km at its widest point. The lake is divided by the international border between India and China and is renowned for its ever-changing shades of blue, set against a dramatic mountain backdrop. Although the area remains under army surveillance, it has been opened to tourists, allowing visitors to experience its unique natural beauty.

Spend time soaking in the serene surroundings and capturing unforgettable photographs before driving back to Leh by evening.

After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for a short yet spectacular mountain flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Later, enjoy a brief exploration of Delhi, the vibrant capital of India, including time for shopping at Connaught Place (Connaught Circus).

In the evening, gather for a farewell dinner at a North Indian tandoori restaurant or a Chinese restaurant. After dinner, transfer to Delhi International Airport for your onward flight back to Singapore, bringing your memorable Ladakh journey to a close.

By booking with Brothers International Tours & Trading Pte Ltd (the Company), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. This agreement governs your relationship with us and covers liability limitations and cancellation policies.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and ensure that your personal data is kept confidential and used only for booking purposes. We will not disclose or sell your information to third parties.

Trip Booking

A contract is formed when you receive a written confirmation after paying the deposit. Check your booking details carefully and notify us of any errors. The name on your booking must match your passport exactly.

Deposit Requirements

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 60 days before departure. Payment can be made via bank transfer or PayNow.

Cancellation Policy

Over 180 days before departure: No charge

180-90 days: 10% charge

90-30 days: 30% charge

30-15 days: 50% charge

15-7 days: 80% charge

Less than 7 days: No refund

No refunds for unused services or voluntary trip cancellations. We recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance.

Health and Fitness

You must assess your health and fitness before booking. Inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions. We are not responsible for any issues arising from medical conditions or inability to complete the trip.

Travel Insurance

Adequate travel insurance covering accidents, medical expenses, and emergency evacuation is mandatory. We recommend comprehensive coverage for all aspects of the trip.

Itinerary Changes

The itinerary may change due to unforeseen factors such as weather, medical issues, or flight delays. Brothers Team reserves the right to modify the schedule.

Visa and Passport

Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. It’s your responsibility to obtain the necessary visas. Brothers Team is not responsible for visa issues.
