Subject: Heartfelt Thanks for an Amazing Nepal Trip
Dear Chij,
I would like to extend a big “Thank You!” for making our Nepal trip (10–21 February 2014) such an amazing and memorable experience. We truly appreciate your thoughtful planning of our Poon Hill trek, especially the adjustments to the itinerary that allowed for a smoother trek and the chance to witness the sunrise atop Poon Hill. Thank you for braving the snow with us—it was indeed our luck to experience both snow and sunrise! =)
Please also extend our thanks to your brother, Anil, for his wonderful company and unwavering support during our snow trek. We were constantly amused by his ability to remain expressionless, even while telling the funniest jokes—like pointing out what he claimed were Yeti footprints. Our appreciation also goes to Saila for his incredible trekking ability with a full load on his back and for indulging us in song and dance.
We are grateful to John for sharing fascinating anecdotes about Nepal and for the special memory of the ice-cream flavor, “21 Love”. And of course, a big thank you to our driver, Hakka, for his excellent driving skills and for safely taking us to so many places in his impeccably maintained vehicle.
To Ganga and Jhak: thank you both for making all the necessary arrangements and for your care and concern throughout our trip. From the Fewa Lake boat ride to the Poon Hill trek and Chitwan animal adventures, every part of this journey was incredible. This trip has truly been an eye-opener, and we look forward to visiting this magnificent country again!
